About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is pursuing a single-source procurement for trade show and exhibit services from the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) for the "Fresh From Florida" pavilion at the IFPA Global Produce and Floral Show. This procurement is authorized under Chapter 571, Part II of Florida Statutes, specifically designed to promote Florida agricultural commodities and related businesses through marketing programs and trade show participation. The contract will cover booth space rental and related exhibit services, with a term extending from the date of execution through June 30, 2026. Prospective vendors who believe they can provide similar commodities or services are invited to submit relevant information to the department by June 20, 2025. If no alternative vendors can be identified, the department will proceed with the single-source procurement and post notice of its intended decision on the Vendor Information Portal in accordance with Section 120.57(3) of Florida Statutes.
There are no specific set-aside designations or restrictions on potential respondents mentioned in the documentation. The procurement is limited to a single source due to the unique nature of the trade show and the IFPA's exclusive hosting role. The estimated total budget for this acquisition is up to $500,000.00, with an approximate contract amount of $260,000.00. No incumbent vendors or existing infrastructure integration requirements are explicitly detailed in the provided documents. The procurement is specifically focused on the Leon County jurisdiction within the state of Florida, targeting agricultural promotional activities. The single-source justification is predicated on the IFPA being the sole provider of the specific trade show and exhibit services required for the "Fresh From Florida" pavilion.
