Bidders must certify Iran Economic Sanctions Act compliance and disclose any familial relationships with school board members or district leadership on notarized affidavits; false certification carries civil penalties up to $250,000 or twice the contract amount, whichever is greater, plus ineligibility to bid on district RFPs for three years.

Each bid requires a certified check, money order, or bid bond of not less than 5 percent of the bid amount.
