About this opportunity

The Georgia World Congress Center Authority is requesting proposals for Calsense Irrigation Controller Upgrades at its facilities in Atlanta, with proposals due October 7, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., and a mandatory pre-proposal site visit on September 25, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. A strict communication blackout is in effect; interested firms may not contact Authority staff or consultants except through formal written question submission until final award is made.

Contractors must demonstrate a minimum of five consecutive years of experience providing comparable Calsense irrigation control system services and must be active legal entities licensed to do business in Georgia prior to service commencement. All equipment must be new, unused, and manufactured by Calsense through authorized distribution channels; no substitutions are permitted.

The scope encompasses upgrading existing Calsense Irrigation Control Systems at two locations—Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) and Centennial Olympic Park (COP)—including furnishing and installing eight CS3000 pedestal controller upgrades, four wall-mount controller upgrades, station-transfer components, communication equipment, antennas, weather and flow-equipment transfers, system configuration and programming, integration with existing infrastructure, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, training, and ten-year communications and data plans for both locations. Pricing must be submitted as separate firm fixed prices for each location, with itemized cost breakdowns covering genuine Calsense equipment, labor, programming, testing, training, freight, permits, taxes, and incidental materials.

A performance bond or irrevocable letter of credit equal to 100 percent of the total contract amount is required throughout contract performance. Contractors must provide a minimum one-year warranty on installation and workmanship beginning upon final acceptance, plus applicable Calsense manufacturer warranties.

Evaluation criteria are technical approach and understanding of work (25%), firm experience and qualifications (20%), project team and implementation schedule (15%), warranty, training and ongoing support (10%), and cost proposal (30%). Written questions are due October 29, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.; clarifications will be issued by September 30, 2026. Proposer presentations and interviews will be scheduled after evaluation.
