About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is soliciting bids for two years of maintenance and support services for an APC Symmetra PX 50kVA UPS system at its facility in Dallas, Texas, with bids due June 1, 2026. This is a low-bid award to a single qualified vendor meeting all Scope of Work requirements.
The scope spans two contract periods: Year 1 (September 9, 2026 through September 8, 2027) and Year 2 (September 9, 2027 through September 8, 2028). The service includes Advantage Ultra Service Plan coverage for the Symmetra PX UPS units (serial numbers QD2028340129 and QD2029340021) with an upgrade to four-hour on-site emergency response time for both years. Battery and capacitor replacements are excluded and classified as proactive repairs. All pricing must be inclusive of labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and freight on FOB Destination terms; no price adjustments are permitted absent specific contract authorization.
The service location is 1401 Pacific Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75202. DART requires all bids to reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs embedded in the overall price. Time and rate of delivery are essential; vendor failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. Payment terms are Net 30, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and containing purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. All procurements are subject to DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, including compliance with equal opportunity employment provisions, certification of no pecuniary interest by public officials, and non-participation in boycotts of Israel. Texas law governs the agreement with venue in Dallas County. DART is exempt from Texas state and local sales and use taxes.
Bonfire registration is required to access the bid table and full supporting documents, including the Statement of Work, Schedule, and Purchase Order Terms and Conditions.
