About this opportunity

The University of Mississippi Medical Center is certifying a sole-source procurement for Cancer Registry Software Maintenance and Support services for Oncolog under RFx# 3150006920, with objections due July 24, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Central Time. This is a non-competitive procurement; Onco, Inc. is the sole authorized vendor capable of providing maintenance and support for the Oncolog system.

Oncolog is a cancer registry data system used to identify new cancer cases, abstract data according to national standards and requirements, prepare standardized and custom reports, conduct survival reporting and graphics, export data to meet state and accreditation requirements, and identify cancer deaths. The system is considered compatible equipment for which Onco, Inc. is the exclusive supplier.

The estimated total expenditure is $49,629 over a three-year contract term with no renewal options. UMMC has justified the sole source certification under Mississippi state law, stating that the amount is reasonable based on comparison against available market intelligence and identified discounts.

Parties who believe the renewal should not be certified as sole source may submit objections to solesource@umc.edu using the Vendor Form and required Objection Certification found on the Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration website. UMMC reserves the right to inspect any commodity for comparison purposes. Onco, Inc. is located at 1973 Highway 34, Building E Suite 101, Wall Township, New Jersey 07719, and can be reached at 800-345-5626. The Notice of Award or No Award will be posted on July 24, 2026. Responses must be submitted to UMMC at 2500 North State Street, Jackson, Mississippi 39216.
