Key specifications include measurement range of −15 to 10,000 micrograms per cubic meter; operating temperature from −30 to +50.0 degrees Celsius; sample flow rate of 16.7 liters per minute with 2.0% tolerance; lower detectable limit below 1.0 microgram per cubic meter for 24-hour readings and below 4.8 micrograms per cubic meter for 1-hour readings; operation within relative humidity 0% to 90% non-condensing; automatic hourly averaging with user-selectable 5- to 60-minute short-term averages; continuous storage of at least 22,500 hourly averages; 115VAC power; and data transmission via Ethernet with wireless modem and USB or remote access via Comet software. The equipment must include a vacuum pump, sample inlet heater, weatherproof enclosure with separable pump box, 14C beta source of 6015 Ci, and scintillation photomultiplier tube detector. Performance must meet or exceed US-EPA Class III PM2.5 standards for both additive and multiplicative bias.

Delivery is to Gina Curvin at 1350 Coliseum Boulevard, Montgomery, Alabama 36110. Award will be made on an all-or-none basis to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders must submit responses and technical literature through the Alabama Buys supplier portal; questions are due through the portal discussion tab by the stated deadline. Awarded suppliers must provide a one-year standard manufacturer's warranty from installation and submit E-Verify documentation and a Vendor Disclosure Statement upon notice of intent to award. Bids must be submitted in hard copy with original ink signatures and all required pricing pages unless marked no-bid.
