Update #4 ·
Additional RFI Follow Ups:
1. Clarification to RFI #8c. Since the feeders - GRC conduit and conductors - to be, now, provided by the electrical contractor, we are assuming underground conduit installation between the disconnects (new and the existing ones) and the temporary chillers.
a) Should this installation be removed after temp chillers are decommissioned and removed from the site? YES
b) if so, can the installation be considered "temporary" and maybe surface-mounted utilizing, let's say PVC conduit in lieu of GRC? NO
2. Clarification to RFI #9. It is clearly understood that the conduits in question (related to the HV feeders), are to be installed in GRC conduits. What about the interior conduits as depicted on ES-102? Should they also be installed utilizing GRC conduit? Can EMT be utilized for indoor applications? There is a note on ED-102, related to the WC- feeder to its 5KV starter clearly stating of existing GRC conduit. Please advise: ALL HV FEEDERS TO BE IN GRC CONDUIT
3. Is the work outlined in RFI #46 (the added ATS #2) to be included as part of the contract's "Base Bid" or to be priced as a separate add alternate? TO BE PART OF BASE BID
The following are also additional updates provided by the AE as an Addendum to the Bidders.
