Update #9 · Latest ·
Awarded Vendors: PERGRAVIS, LLC. Contract Award Dollar Amount: not to exceed $162,521.00. Contract Award Date: 2016-07-01.
Update #8 ·
Q & A document updated on 13JUN. The Production environment UPS system at Fort Lee is 225 KVA, not 100 KVA as previously stated. Further, the UPS system at DeCA West (California) does have an SNMP/Web card installed and DeCA does require remote monitoring for that system IAW the PWS.
********************************************************
Offerors must acknowledge the amendment via emailed response to Erich.Wieber@deca.mil to be considered for award.
Amendment 0002:
Amendment issued to add a third UPS system to the acquisition. DeCA has a second UPS at Fort Lee, VA which requires maintenance and optional battery replacement.
HQ (Ft. Lee, VA) - UPS System: Powerware (Eaton) - Serial #: EB062CAA09 - Battery Qty (each): 40 - Battery Manufacturer: C & D Technologies - Battery Model: LS 12-100 - 80 KVA
*****************************************************
Amendment 0001:
Amendment issued to remove the requirement for OEM maintenance plans. The solicitation now includes a PWS which offerors must respond to and address how they will meet or exceed the requirements listed.
Additionally, an alternate battery model has been approved for the Powerware UPS at DeCA HQ.
Finally, vendors are authorized to quote a maximum annual escalation rate for the battery replacement. In evaluating offers, the Government will determine the total evaluated price by adding the FFP maintenance costs of the base and four option years and then adding the maximum one-time battery replacement price to reach the total evaluated price. For example, if the proposed battery replacement cost were $100 and the maximum annual escalation proposed were 5%, the evaluated price for the battery replacement w ould be $121.55 (5% annual increase applied 4 times).

Please see the attached RFQ and brand-name justification for batteries.
