The notice solicits quotes for a hand piling fuels reduction initiative covering 162 acres of forest land. Specifically, the project aims to reduce fuel loadings by manually piling previously thinned slash and all dead and down material smaller than 12 inches in diameter. The solicitation is part of a broader forest management strategy focused on vegetation and fuel control in the region. The contract opportunity is identified with the specific BPA number 1240BE22A00XX and is being processed through the agency's procurement services.

The key deadlines include a quote submission due date of April 21, 2025, with an anticipated contract award date of April 30, 2025. Contractors must focus on piling slash and ground material less than 12 inches in diameter, with the total project scope covering 162 acres of forestland. The procurement will be conducted as a competitive request for quotes exclusively among existing BPA contractors. The project falls under NAICS Category 115310 for Support Activities for Forestry and is classified under PSC Category F099 for Natural Resources/Conservation.
