About this opportunity

This notice seeks a tanker for voyage charter to transport approximately 155,000 barrels of clean product from St. Theodore, Greece to Souda Bay, Crete between December 26 and 27, 2021. The Department of the Navy's Military Sealift Command requires the tanker have double hull construction, an inert gas system, and segregated ballast tanks. Responses are due by December 1, 2021. Evaluation will consider the vessel's ability to meet the stated fuel carriage and segregation requirements within the designated cargo tanks.

There is no set-aside designation for this procurement as all work will occur outside of the United States and its outlying areas. The North American Industry Classification System code is V-Transportation, Travel, & Relocation services and the Product or Service Code is for transportation services. As no incumbent or current contractor is identified, this appears to be an open competition with potential award amounts yet to be determined based on received offers. The single voyage is required to transport the specified amount of fuel between the identified Greek and Cretan ports within the stated loading and discharge laydays.
