About this opportunity
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Defense Sciences Office is conducting an Information Session webcast on August 24, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern time to brief potential proposers on the Resilient Disruption Opportunity (DO). Advance registration closes August 17, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. or upon capacity at https://events.sa-meetings.com/ResilientInformationSession/.
The Resilient program aims to develop a Material Accelerator—an experimental platform that subjects material coupons to coupled, accelerated stressors to generate high-fidelity data for forecasting long-term durability of critical concrete infrastructure. The program will produce physics-informed scalability models capable of predicting site-specific structural performance. All awards will be issued as Other Transactions for prototype projects under 10 U.S.C. § 4022 authority through the Disruptioneering Program Announcement (DARPA-PA-25-07).
Eligibility extends to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, and foreign nationals. Non-U.S. citizens must submit either DARPA Form 60 (industry or academia) or an Official Visit Request (foreign government personnel) through their country's Washington embassy no later than August 10, 2026. Registrants may optionally submit one-page Proposer Profiles to Resilient@darpa.mil by August 17, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. to identify collaboration partners. DARPA anticipates releasing the Resilient DO in August 2026 on SAM.gov. Attendance at the Information Session is voluntary and not required to propose. Direct technical questions to Christine Sanders, Program Manager, at Resilient@darpa.mil.
