Added: Nov 13, 2009 5:22 pm Attached herein is solicitation package IBM10B0001 with attachments.  NOTE: Previously provided on Nov 10, 2009 was plans & specs. Mandatory Pre-bid conference/Site visit scheduled for November 19, 2009, 10:30 AM MDT (ref Section L for location).  Bid opening date is December 14, 2009, 2:30 PM MDT.
As a minimum, bidders shall complete/fill-out and submit as their bid the following:
SF 1442 - page 1 & 2
Bidding Schedule - pages 7 - 10
Qualification of Bidders - Section L.2 (follow instructions completely)

RECOVERY-Provide all plant, labor, material, subcontract, supervision, management and overhead for the construction of levee improvements for the Hatch HW1 West Levee. This estimated 14.3 miles of levee segments has an estimated magnitude of between $11 million and $21 million. This requirement is unrestricted under applicable NAICS Code 237990. Levee improvements of levee segments from Hatch Siphon to Bignell Arroyo will consist of 1) raising the top-of-the levee elevation, 2) providing seepage control structures as required, and 3) rehabilitating existing pipeline/culvert structures and appurtenances located within the levees by modifying them to be in accordance with the raised levee cross section, repairing gates  and gatewells as required, and adding gates to ungated structures. The contractor shall construct the rehabilitation improvements for the existing levee and modifications to affected structures as per design and specifications.
FAR 52.225-22, Notice of Required Use of American Iron, Steel, and other Manufactured Goods-Buy American Act-Construction Materials (Mar 2009); and FAR 52.225-24 Notice of Required Use of American Iron, Steel,and Other Manufactured Goods-Buy American Act-Construction Materials Under Trade Agreements (Mar 2009) are applicable to this requirement. Solicitation, plans and specifications will be posted on or about 4 November 2009. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency.
