About this opportunity
The Army's C5ISR Center Research and Technology Integration Directorate seeks information to develop a scalable, modular, multi-function radio frequency payload for collaborative unmanned aircraft systems. Respondents must submit capability statements within 30 days of the October 18, 2022 posting date to the encrypted email address provided, including a completed DD Form 2345. The Army will host a Technical Exchange Meeting in November at Aberdeen Proving Ground to provide additional requirement details for developing the necessary hardware, software, integration, and flight testing. The resulting capabilities are expected to be included in anticipated follow-on solicitation W56KGU-23-R-0001.
There is no set-aside designation. Interested parties must properly mark and classify responses according to DoDM 5200.01-V2, including disposition instructions for proprietary information. The pre-solicitation RFI aims to gauge industry capability for the design, development, and demonstration of scalable radio frequency payloads supporting collaborative unmanned aircraft system operations across various NAICS and PSC codes. Questions are due by November 2, 2022 through the encrypted email address provided in the RFI attachment.
Notice text
Scalable Multi-Function RF Payloads for Collaborative Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
The Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center Research and Technology Integration (RTI) Directorate is seeking information from industry on the development and demonstration of a multi-function, modular, scalable, advanced Radio Frequency (RF) Payload for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) platforms. The project will include requirements to develop and design the necessary hardware and software, followed by system integration and flight testing on relevant systems. This Request for Information (RFI) seeks to gauge the industry's technical capability to perform the effort within a project milestone.
Amendment 01 to this RFI revises the attachment to notify interested vendors that submitting a completed DD2345 is a requirement to access the full RFI document and removed the NDA requirement.
