About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is soliciting offers for a Signal Data Processor, classified under NAICS 334290 (Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing) and PSC 7G20 (IT and Telecom - Network: Analog Voice Products). The procurement requires four units of the specified processor and mandates that offerors be government-approved sources of supply; offers from non-approved sources will be deemed technically unacceptable and ineligible for award. Key contract requirements include compliance with Buy American provisions, Free Trade Agreements, and Balance of Payments Program regulations, as well as adherence to critical safety item identification standards under DFARS clause 252.209-7010 and product verification testing protocols. The solicitation incorporates numerous standard clauses addressing representation and certification, equal opportunity for workers with disabilities, and transportation of supplies by sea. The proposal due date is December 29, 2025, providing potential offerors approximately 28 days from the December 1, 2025 posting date to prepare and submit their offers.

This procurement carries no set-aside designation and does not identify any incumbent contractors or specific award value ranges in the available documentation. The contract calls for delivery of four units of the signal data processor, with specific delivery timelines and payment instructions to be determined per the wide area workflow payment instructions clause. Government inspection and acceptance will be conducted at the source, and the solicitation notes that drawings are not available for this request for quote. While the exact place of performance and total contract value are not explicitly stated in the notice, the emphasis on government-approved sources and critical safety item compliance suggests this is a specialized procurement supporting Defense Logistics Agency Aviation operations with stringent quality and sourcing requirements.
