About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking to procure signal data processors (NSN 0R-5895-017091273-P8) under a pre-solicitation notice posted on November 14, 2025, with a deadline of December 28, 2025. The procurement addresses a known design instability issue with the current component, which has demonstrated low process yield and marginal performance during testing and service use, necessitating major configuration changes that will render the present part obsolete. This requirement falls under the IT and Telecom Network category for analog voice products hardware and perpetual license software (PSC 7G20). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 authority; however, all responsible sources are invited to identify their interest and capability to respond. Interested parties may access Military and Federal Specifications, Standards, Qualified Products Lists, and related standardized documents through ASSIST-Online or by contacting the DoD Single Stock Point at 215-697-2667 or 215-697-2179.

The procurement carries no set-aside designation and requires a quantity of four units with delivery FOB Origin. No incumbent contractor is identified in this pre-solicitation notice, and specific award values or budget ranges are not disclosed at this stage. The Government acknowledges that this represents limited acquisition and repair from the present source pending resolution of the configuration issues, reflecting the interim nature of this procurement while engineering changes are implemented. Additional procurement details, including technical specifications, evaluation criteria, and contract terms, are expected to be released in the formal solicitation. Interested contractors should monitor the Federal Procurement Data System and relevant agency websites for the full solicitation announcement following this pre-solicitation phase.
