About this opportunity

The Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service (USDA ARS) is seeking a contractor to perform an office and laboratory remodel project at its facility in East Grand Forks, Minnesota. The scope of work includes selective demolition, hazardous material abatement, new construction, and installation of mechanical and electrical systems to create a potato processing lab, technician workspace, and additional spaces for future labs and restrooms. The solicitation also includes optional alternates to fit out an analytical lab, construct three single-occupant restrooms, and install a flagpole. Contractors must attend a mandatory site visit on March 20th, 2024 to be eligible to submit an offer. Data regarding this requirement was not gathered prior to FY23.
