About this opportunity

The Naval Air Systems Command seeks to procure a reconfigurable multi-crane trainer to provide comprehensive cab operation training for four specific crane types at the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division. Interested parties are to detail their capabilities and experience in similar crane simulation work, and describe how their proposed trainer would utilize commercial off-the-shelf equipment in a reconfigurable manner for a shipboard MacGregor-Hagglunds pedestal crane, an Appleton boom crane, a Sun Shipbuilding gantry crane, and a Link-Belt rough terrain truck crane. Responses are due by 2:00pm Eastern Time on May 17, 2021 and must include schedule estimates, small business participation plans, and rough cost estimates.

There is no set-aside designation for this procurement. The government intends to make a sourcing determination based on the responses received and may pursue an award under simplified acquisition procedures or GSA procedures for an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract. Interested parties are requested to submit responses to the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division by the specified deadline.
