About this opportunity

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has issued a Limited / Sole Source Justification Notice to extend an IT Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support services task order with ManTech Advanced Systems International Inc. through a four-month period from December 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025. The extension, valued at $13,892,609.33, is necessary to ensure continuity of critical mission-critical services for the Technology Solutions Division Mission Operation Systems, including Secure Flight and the Vetting and Credentialing System. The justification is based on FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B), as ManTech is considered the only vendor capable of providing uninterrupted specialized services with cleared personnel during a transition period. The extension was required due to delays in a new competitive task order, and ManTech will continue to provide network infrastructure operations, system security, asset management, configuration management, hardware maintenance, and help desk services through their GSA Alliant 2 GWAC contract (47QTCK18D0031). The sole source modification was reviewed and approved in accordance with TSA policies to prevent potential risks to national security vetting systems.
