About this opportunity
The US Coast Guard seeks eight units of MH-65 helicopter spare parts (TROUGH, AFT RH, part number 366A25-1260-01, NSN 1560-14-417-1618), with quotations due July 13 at 10:00 a.m. EDT. The procurement is issued as a combined synopsis and RFQ (70Z03826QB0000162) and is anticipated to be awarded on a sole-source basis to Airbus Helicopters, Inc.
All parts must have clear, documented, and auditable traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Airbus Helicopters France (CAGE Code F0210). Newly manufactured commercial items must be accompanied by a Certificate of Conformance per Federal Aviation Regulation Part 21 and FAR clause 52.246-15. No substitute or alternate parts are acceptable.
Delivery is scheduled for March 23, 2027, F.O.B. Destination to the USCG Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Quotations must be submitted on an F.O.B. Destination basis; if F.O.B. Origin is proposed, estimated shipping costs must be included. The offer period is 60 calendar days from receipt unless otherwise specified. Evaluation is pass-fail on technical acceptability (ability to provide new manufactured items from the OEM or approved source); award is based on fair and reasonable pricing. The NAICS code is 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing), with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. This is a restricted requirement; all responsible sources may submit a quotation. The justification for other than full and open competition cites that Airbus Helicopters, Inc. is the only known source capable of providing OEM traceability and genuine OEM parts.
