About this opportunity
The US Coast Guard seeks quotations for MH-65 helicopter spare parts on a sole-source basis, with quotes due July 2, 2026. The procurement is anticipated to be awarded to Airbus Helicopters, Inc., the Original Equipment Manufacturer.
The requirement comprises three parts: 18 deflectors (NSN 1560-14-374-7209, P/N 365A25-3001-58), 18 cover strips (NSN 5340-14-464-9572, P/N 365A25-0521-2001), and 18 side seal covers (NSN 5340-14-464-9574, P/N 365A25-0521-22010). Delivery dates range from December 14, 2026, to February 10, 2027. All parts must be newly manufactured with clear, complete, and auditable traceability to Airbus Helicopters (CAGE Code F0210) and include a Certificate of Conformance per FAR clause 52.246-15 and Federal Aviation Regulation Part 21. The Coast Guard justifies sole-source procurement on the grounds that Airbus is the only known source capable of providing traceability and genuine OEM parts; procurement from other sources would compromise aircraft and crew safety.
Place of performance is the United States. Quotations must be F.O.B. Destination to USCG Aviation Logistics Center, Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Award will be based on fair and reasonable pricing determination, with technical acceptability evaluated on the offeror's ability to provide new manufactured commercial items from the OEM or approved source matching the exact part numbers listed. The offer period is 60 calendar days from the receipt-of-offers date. NAICS code is 336413, Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing. All materials must include full unbroken ownership history from approved manufacturing source and comply with strict quality assurance, defect notification, and documentation requirements.
