About this opportunity
The United States Embassy in Mexico City is seeking to procure 50 Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Fan Heater HP07 (White/Silver) air purifiers through a competitive Request for Quotations (RFQ). The Department of State's solicitation (RFQ 19MX5325Q0031) requires vendors to submit proposals by June 19, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. local time, with a prior deadline of June 11, 2025, for submitting questions. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be considered responsive, and the government may award the contract based on initial offers without further discussion. The air purifiers must meet specific technical requirements, including a HEPA H13 filter that captures 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns, 350-degree oscillation, and compatibility with 120V/60Hz electrical systems. Evaluation will likely focus on compliance with technical specifications, pricing, and adherence to solicitation requirements.
The solicitation is not a small business set-aside and will result in a firm-fixed price purchase order with an estimated total value of $27,500.00. The place of performance is Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico, where the air purifiers will be used across multiple embassy properties to standardize equipment and provide a healthy living environment. Delivery of the air purifiers is expected by July 27, 2025, and the selected units must include a 2-year warranty for parts and labor in Mexico. The procurement aims to maintain consistent furniture standards and optimize inventory management by selecting a single brand and model of air purifier. Vendors are prohibited from contacting Embassy personnel outside of the specified communication channels and must submit their quotations via email to Abraham Garcia at MexicoCityGSOSolicitations@groups.state.gov.
