The National Institutes of Health, National Eye Institute has a requirement to replace Pentair controllers for aquatic holding systems in a central animal facility and intends to purchase IWAKI WALCHEM Intuition-9 controllers as replacements. Pentair, which is now IWAKI America, Inc., designed the current aquatic holding systems. The current controllers are over 10 years old and on the verge of failure. A controller is the component that operates and maintains the various components of the aquatic holding systems. The aquatic holding systems are used for maintaining, sustaining, and supporting the aquatic research and animals. AWAKI America, Inc. is the only known company equipped to provide and install compatible controllers.
