About this opportunity
The General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking to lease office space in Portage, Michigan. The space must be between 3,848 and 4,040 square feet, meet government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards, and not be located in a floodplain. The lease will be for a full term of 10 years with an 8-year firm term. Expressions of interest are due by June 7, 2024, and the government plans to conduct a market survey on June 24, 2024, with an estimated occupancy date of December 1, 2025.
This is not a set-aside procurement, and the current occupant's lease is expiring, so there is no incumbent contractor. The government is considering alternative space to potentially reduce costs associated with relocation, such as physical move costs, tenant improvement replication, and telecommunication infrastructure. Subleases will not be considered, and entities other than the building's owner of record must provide satisfactory evidence of authorization from the property owner.
