The purpose of the Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit will be to address questions regarding the solicitation and tour the facility. We urge all prospective Offerors to attend this conference.


Attendee Registration Requirements - Please provide the full name (Last, First, MI), Social Security Number and Driver's License Number w/State of Issuance of all requesting attendees via email to: annie.gordon@dla.mil no later than 3:00 p.m. local Fort Belvoir, VA time May 8, 2012. This information must be provided in order to gain access to the military base/conference site and to ensure adequate seating is available for conference attendees.

Defense Logistics Agency - Energy anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) within the next 30 to 60 days for Government-Owned, Contractor-Operated (GOCO) Aviation and Ground Fuel Bulk Storage Services at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska.  This acquisition will be restricted for 100% set-a-side  small business concerns.   Services include providing all technical support, personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials and other items and services as required on behalf of DLA-Energy in support of the Department of Air Force fuel storage facilities.  The Contractor's responsibility under the resulting contract will be to operate and maintain bulk storage facility to ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, transfer, and issue of petroleum products under their control.  The contractor will not be required to perform alongside aircraft refueling, truck deliveries, handling cryogenics, operating automated service stations, or other unrelated tasks not specified in the Performance Work Statement.  Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Procedures will be used to evaluate offers.   The expected period of performance is 5 Sep 13 through 5 Sep 18.  A preproposal conference and site visit will be conducted for this requirement.  Registration requirements, location, date and time of the conference will be included in the RFP.  NAICS: 493190; Size Standard - $25.
