About this opportunity

This solicitation seeks proposals for an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract to connect Building 21 at the USDA campus in Ames, Iowa to the existing North Campus electrical service. The Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service Marketing and Regulatory Programs Business Services requires the contractor to disconnect Building 21 from its single existing 13.8kV feeder from the City of Ames and connect it to the 13.2kV electrical system by installing new underground ductbanks and cables. Proposals will be evaluated based on technical capability, price, and past performance. The most recent deadline for proposal submissions was March 8, 2023 at noon Central Time.

This requirement has been set aside for total small businesses. The predominate NAICS code is 238210 and PSC code is R408. The place of performance will be the USDA campus located at Ames, Iowa 50010. Two amendments extended the response deadline to allow additional time for contractor questions and submissions. This indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract does not specify a total value but the construction work must be completed within one year of award.
