About this opportunity
Paragraph 1:
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Medical Logistics Division and the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Medical/Surgical Prime Vendor (MSPV) program intend to issue a Sources Sought notification for the establishment of a Qualified Suppliers Listing (QSL) for Chest Seals through the SAM.gov website on or about June 16, 2024. The primary objective is to solicit information and products for evaluation in order to create the QSL, which will then be used as the basis for a separate Standardization Action and Incentive Agreement under the MSPV program. The QSL will include vented or valved Chest Seals that manage penetrating chest trauma by sealing the open wound and allowing air and fluid to escape from the pleural cavity without being drawn back in. Detailed information about the QSL requirements will be provided in the forthcoming QSL Announcement.
Paragraph 2:
This opportunity is not set-aside for any specific business category. Vendors must have or be in the process of obtaining a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) and a commercial agreement with the current Medical/Surgical Prime Vendors, Cardinal Health and Owens & Minor, to participate in the QSL process. All items proposed must be on DAPA and comply with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). No further details are provided on potential award values or budget ranges, or the quantity of chest seals required.
