About this opportunity
The Department of State is seeking to procure a Cargo Box Vehicle through a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract or purchase order to the responsible company submitting the best value quotation, without holding discussions unless there is a need to do so. The vehicle must meet specific technical requirements, including a minimum 600 kg gross payload and a 500 kg loading ramp capacity. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the time of proposal submission. Quotations are due by 16:00h (CEST) on November 21, 2024, and questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted in writing and in English by 16:00h (CEST) on November 1, 2024.
This solicitation is unrestricted, and there are no incumbent contractors or set-aside designations. The government has not provided an estimated award value or budget range. The vehicle is required to be delivered to the U.S. Embassy in Podgorica, Montenegro, with an anticipated delivery time of 240 days from the award date. The government will evaluate offers based on technical capability, price, and past performance, with technical and past performance being equally important as price.
