About this opportunity

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center has issued a Special Notice for a sole source procurement of a bearing assembly for MH-60T aircraft. The notice specifically intends to award a contract to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) under Basic Ordering Agreement SPE4A1-22-G-0005. The procurement involves two bearing assemblies with National Stock Number 1615-01-HS1-4255 and Part Number 70102-28000-059. This acquisition is classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336413 with a size standard of 1,250 employees and uses Product Service Code 1615. The solicitation is unrestricted, meaning no small business set-aside is in effect.

Contractors interested in this opportunity may submit quotations to Cindy.K.Harmes@uscg.mil and mrr-procurement@uscg.mil by 2:00 PM EDT on April 25, 2025, with the solicitation number 70Z03825QJ0000237 in the subject line. The USCG requests delivery within 240 days after receipt of order and encourages early shipments at no additional cost. The F.O.B. point is origin, and inspection will be performed by the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). While this is a notice of intent for a sole source procurement, the government will consider all responsible sources' quotations and make an award based on a determination of fair and reasonable pricing. The government retains sole discretion on whether to compete the procurement after reviewing submitted quotations. Importantly, no formal solicitation package will be issued, and the notice serves primarily as a notification of the intended procurement approach.
