About this opportunity
Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (BSA), operating Brookhaven National Laboratory for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), is seeking to procure software licenses for Ansys Discovery Modeling and Ansys CFD Premium through a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation requires vendors to submit quotes for two types of licenses for each software product: a Paid Up version and a TECS version, with a performance period from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025. Key contract requirements include providing the origin of manufacture, submitting a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), and being registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The evaluation criteria will focus on selecting the responsive and responsible offeror who submits the lowest total price while meeting all technical requirements. Quotes must be submitted by March 7, 2025, at 5 PM EST, with pricing to remain valid for 60 days.
The solicitation does not involve a specific set-aside designation, and the current notice is for Brookhaven National Laboratory's procurement needs. The contract involves purchasing four software licenses, each with a quantity of 1.0, located at the performance site in Upton, NY 11973. The procurement falls under the NAICS category of Software Publishers (5132) and the PSC category for Operation of Government-Owned Contractor-Operated R&D Facilities. While a specific award value is not explicitly stated, the quote is part of the DOE Office of Science's ongoing operations at Brookhaven National Laboratory. The procurement includes specific requirements for vendors, such as providing a published price list, demonstrating price justification, and ensuring compliance with government vendor registration processes. Payment terms are set at Net 30, with the expectation that vendors will provide comprehensive documentation to support their quotation.
