The contract duration will be approximately 120 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 236220 with a small business standard of $36,500,000.00
The estimated construction costs of this project will be between $500,000 and $1,000,000.00
A pre-bid conference/site visit will be held on or around August 16, 2016 at 9:00 EST, Building 320, McGhee Tyson ANG Base, TN 37777. Please do not submit request for plans and specifications as they will only be available through Fed Biz Ops.
Bid due date is 13 September 2016, 1:00 PM EST. Bids must be at Building 123 Briscoe Dr, McGhee Tyson ANG Base, TN by 1:00 PM EST.
Project Description:
The Tennessee Air National Guard, McGhee Tyson ANG Base, Louisville, TN has been tasked to solicit for and award a project for minor repairs and construction at multiple facilities. The project includes but is not limited to HVAC replacements/piping, carpet demolition/replacement, minor grading / SOD installation, debris removal, restroom renovations, pavement construction/repairs, interior wall construction/door installation, fencing, above ground storage tank demolition, canopy installation, etc. Proposed project will be a Firm Fixed Price contract
Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (c) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states "By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees" applies to this project.
Interested offerors must be registered in SAM. To register go to: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ . You will need your DUNS number to register. Instructions for registering are on the web page. The solicitation and associated information and the plans and specifications will be available only from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website online at https://www.fbo.gov/ .

On or about July 29, 2016 an Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued for repair and construction of multiple facilities on the 134th Air Refueling Wing at McGhee Tyson Air Base located in Louisville, TN
The contract duration will be approximately 120 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 236220 with a small business standard of $36,500,000.00
This notice will also serve as a SOURCES SOUGHT to determine the best approach in determining the best socioeconomic small business program to set aside for. Please submit by email to MSgt Paula Sales at paula.k.sales.mil@mail.mil capability statements to include your CAGE CODE and DUNS.
