About this opportunity

This solicitation seeks offers for two new 4-axis CNC vertical turning centers per the requirements outlined in Watervliet Arsenal Equipment Engineering Specification Number 5-20-3416. The Department of the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command Detroit Arsenal requires delivery within 360 days of contract award to the destination point of FOB Destination. There is no set-aside designation specified. The vertical turning centers will be used to machine a variety of steel alloys up to 3 feet in size at the place of performance within the United States. This amendment is issued to provide the Government's response to two (2) additional questions from vendors, noted as Q17 and Q18 on the Q & As. Questions are renumbered as Sequence Q2 was listed twice in teh original Q & A. There are a total of eighteen (18) Q & As.

Additionally, the respnse due date for offers has been extended to 18 October 2021, 4:00 pm Eastern Time.

This amenment is issued to incorporate the follow ing changes:
- Decrease CLIN 0001 by one each from two (2) each to one (1) each;
- Incorporate Revised Specification 5-21-3416 dated 16 Sep 2021 for CLIN 0001;
- Add CLIN 0002 as an OPTION for one each Vertical Turning Center per specification 5-21-3416 Rev A;
- Add FAR Clause 52.217-5 Evaluation of Options
- Add FAR Clause 52.217-7 OPTION FOR INCREASED QUANTITY--SEPARATELY PRICED LINE ITEM
- Incorporate Vendor Question and Government answ ers to original SAM.gov posting
