Statement of Work (SOW)
Audio/Visual Communications – Multiple Locations
31 August 2018
1. Introduction
This project addresses a requirement to provide a base multimedia presentation system to communicate integral mission requirements. This system will provide a reliable audio and visual means to communicate key information. This system will provide high definition quality presentations for audiences to have a clearer picture of information being presented.
1.1. Mission
By means of this project, the 104th Fighter Wing intends to satisfy the need for reliable communications crucial to the mission. The system will be used by organizations tasked with national defense.
Once the audiovisual multimedia system is designed and installed the contractor shall provide training on the system and a warranty for replacement of parts and provide a service contract.
1.2. Background
Currently, the 104th Fighter Wing has no organic or structured multimedia system to present information or briefings to the Wing populace. This inhibits briefing the 104th Fighter Wing personnel on integral mission requirements. The multimedia systems and audio upgrades would provide a reliable means to communicate mission requirements and distribute information to the base populace, family members, surrounding community visiting leaders, and collaborating internal and external agencies.
Defense support to civilian agencies is inhibited by the lack of a standard multimedia presentation communication system at the 104th Fighter Wing.
1.3. Scope
The scope of the project includes the acquisition, preparation, system design solution, and installation, meeting existing standards for audiovisual and communications facilities as well as technical specifications that may be unique to this SOW. It includes testing power requirements, followed by the acquisition, preparation, installation, and testing of any and all related cabling and connections necessary to connect supported core audio visual multimedia communications system as well as acquisition, preparation, installation, and testing of any/all associated management software and/or firmware. The contractor shall provide power suitable for the equipment when necessary. The
Government will not provide electrical service. The project will include training on the audiovisual multimedia system for key 104th Fighter Wing personnel once the project is complete. A warranty for parts and service will be included. Lastly, it includes the removal and disposal of the existing audiovisual multimedia presentation system with associated hardware/accessories where indicated.
