HVAC EQUIPMENT BUILDING 2805 & 2902

ADDITIONAL ‐ QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Question: What is the scope of piping that needs to be replaced? Are we removing and replacing piping back to the first isolation valve? Or are we simply disconnecting and reconnecting the hoses that are attached to the existing units?

Answer: Disconnecting and reconnecting hoses, only replace if needed.

Question: Please confirm that each unit replacement only requires a local (i.e. ‐ valve) shutdown as opposed to shutting down and draining most or all of the piping system.

Answer: Isolation valves are located on every unit (or supposed to be). The contractor should not have to shut down and drain everything.

Question: Is the contractor responsible for moving the Computer system etc. before the work start, if so, is there a location where you want the items storage?

Answer: There is no need for the contractor to touch the computer (DDC System), it is located in the CE Shop.

Question: Is the contractor going to get full access to the secured areas??

Answer: The contractor will have full access.
