Text version
Q: Can the connex on the west side of the structure be moved? Whose responsibility?
A: Yes, the connex will be moved. The POC, Mark Renner, said they will move the connex.
Q: To what extent would you like the ground brought back to around the structure? Regraded?
Seeded?
A: The ground should be graded smooth to drain away from the earth anchor trench toward the road on either side. The disturbed area shall be reseeded using dormant seeding and fertilized.
Q: Can you clarify that all the grass does not need to be removed but only as necessary for new work?
A: The grass shall be mowed short on the earth covered ammunition bunker, Building 2201.
This shall be raked up and disposed of in an approved location.
Q: Can you provide the weight capacity for the structures' roof and sidewalls?
A: The roof load listed on the as-builts is 40 pounds per square foot (psf). As discussed at the site showing meeting a skid steer on track can be used on the flat section of the roof, while a small dozer (D-3 or similar size) could be used on the 1-1/2:1 foreslopes.
Q: Can you provide a desired color for the membrane?
A: The desired color is green. If that is not available then tan or black.
Q: Do you have an as-built that shows the location of the lightning protection system wiring and other wires mounted onto the structure?
A: I can only find one detail showing the L.P.S. on the headwall, but nothing else showing the L.P.S. system. Locates will be required before earthwork commences.
