Project: 63rd Reserve Preventive Maintenance - Region 2 - TX Review: RFP Region 2 Preventive Maintance - TX (00001) (sorted by CommentID ) Displaying 28 inquiries.
Id Discipline Sheet Detail Spec 6459517 Facilities Maintenance Section L & M Comment Classification: Unclassified\\For Official Use Only (U\\FOUO)
Will the Government accept CPARS reports for Corporate Experience projects/contracts in lieu of PPQs. With a number of 63rd RSC solicitations released over a short period of time, this would help avoid going back to the clients for PPQs in every instance. Please advise.
On: Apr 01 2016.
Government Response. . CPARS will not be accepted as a substitute for a PPQ in Past Performance.
However, the Government will accept the same PPQ for a single project on multiple RFPs. That is to say, if you have PPQs that were completed for the Reg3 PM you can reuse those PPQs for Regions 2 and 1.
There is no need to request the a PPQ on the same project multiple times. On: Apr 04 2016 Current Request Status: Request Closed

6463007 Facilities Maintenance Attachment 1 Instructions to Offerors Comment Classification: Unclassified\\For Official Use Only (U\\FOUO)
Request Clarification of Attachment 1 where Construction involvement is referenced (i.e. references to General Contractor, designer; Construction period). It is our impression that this will be a Preventative/Facilities Maintenance procurement.
As stated on page 34 of 66 of the Solicitation, "ADDENDUM TO FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors", 4th paragraph down it states: "This is a requirement to provide monthly maintenance of facilities as well as repairs to systems and utilities or other services but not construction or remodels of existing buildings."
Please advise if Attachment 1 will be replaced or if we are to address the Construction items.
On: Apr 04 2016.
Government Response. . The Construction Period is the Performance Period of the contract. General Contractor, subcontractor, designer are typical entities which may be required as part of the facilities maintenance/repairs to systems and utilities. Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 4th paragraph, stating the same, "provide monthly maintenance of facilities as well as repairs to systems and utilities or other services but not construction or remodels of existing buildings" clarifies the services performed are NOT new construction. Facilities may require minor construction such that the facility can be effectively used for its designated purpose. On: Apr 18 2016 Current Request Status: Request Closed
