1. Client calls in a service call request to Ordering Officer, Ordering officer contacts Contractor and asks for an estimate to complete. Contractor returns estimate back to Ordering Officer, Ordering Officer reviews and then gives the ok to proceed via a Task Order, does the contractor then have 15 Days to complete the work order or does the 15 Days count against the contractor from the day an estimate it requested. The process for service calls is as follows:
1. The need for the service call is identified to the Ordering Officer.
2. The Ordering Officer will utilize RS Means to identify the work that needs to be completed. Utilizing the item numbers in RS Means the Ordering Officer will identify quantities of specific items needed and the labor associated with those items as identified in RS Means. The Ordering Officer will then apply the accepted co-efficient to the total amount.
3. The Ordering Officer will compile this information into an order and will send the signed order to the contractor. The contractor will acknowledge receipt and the timeline for completion of the order will start upon acknowledgement. By: Timothy Merchant; Merchant Consulting; (9046136898). On: Mar 24 2016. Forward request by email.
1-0 Evaluation Concurred. An amendment will be issued to address this question. For planning purposes the following information is provided:
For price evaluation purposes only for service calls, the Government will develop the total evaluated price by multiplying the proposed labor rate by an estimated 1,000 hours and applying the co-efficient to the total $500,000 in the total amount. These two totals will be combined to evaluate the price for service calls. This process will be used for price evaluation purposes only. However, the total service calls will not exceed $500,000 once awarded unless that amount is modified after award by a contracting officer.
