Questions & Answers—

1- Confirm that you want two classes a year?

RESPONSE: Per PWS, ARNORTH is looking for two (2) classes annually.

2- How many participants do you expect for the classes?

RESPONSE: Per PWS, the standard class will have 50 students.

3- What is the delivery time to cover the content for each class? The class can be tailored 4 hours to days?

RESPONSE: The PWS only stipulates that the course is conducted from Monday to Friday 0800-1700. It is expected for the vendor to tailor the course according to the timeframe.

How each lesson/topic is covered or arranged throughout the weekday is based on the vendor’s determination to how their organization can best cover and adequately execute the subject. One hour lunch break should be included per course day. We will review the vendor’s proposed timeline accordingly.

4- Where are the classes taking place? City, State, Country? Is this class in one location or does the venue rotate? What is the class schedule? Will the classes be on base or off base? Is there a venue being provided to the contractor? Will the contractor provide space for the venue? Is there lodging provided for the contractor? How many students in each class? Annually, monthly, class? Are this classes cyclical and do they contain break periods? Does the contractor need a CAC card to access the base? Will a CAC card be provided as the result of an award? Does the contractor need a security clearance? Will a clearance be provided as the result of an award? Are the people in the course exiting the military? How many days is the course?

RESPONSE: The classes will be conducted at a designated location at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The location will be determined once the contract is awarded and close coordination occurs between the vendor and contracting officer representative. The class schedule is determined by the vendor in accordance with the timeframe specified in the PWS. The contractor will provided their own lodging. It is expected for the vendor to conduct two courses annually for 50 students. Each course is a 5 day course (Monday to Friday). The course will be determined in coordination with the contracting officer representative schedule. Access to Fort Sam Houston will be coordinated through the contracting officer representative.

In terms of security clearance, it is the vendor’s responsibility to meet the following requirement per PWS: paragraphs 1.6.7, 1.6.7.a and 1.6.7.b.

5- How long will each of the trainings be in duration?

RESPONSE: Per PWS, the vendor needs to cover the topics stipulated. However, the curriculum dynamic, lesson content and composition is determined by the vendor based on their subject matter expertise to adequately and properly execute the sought after training.

Our SME’s will in turn review their proposal accordingly.
