The following have been added by full text:

SOLIT Q AND A (2)

38. Q: Please clarify how the contract is funded.

Will the government remain in compliance with FAR Subpart 32.7 Anti-Deficiency Act throughout the contract period?

A: Contract will be funded in accordance with regulatory requirements.

39. Q: 1.1.1.5. CONSOLIDATION OF DINING FACILITIES. When required due to lower workload or during weekends and holiday periods, meals may be served in a reduced number of facilities. This is normally accomplished through consolidation of feeding requirements. Consolidation may allow one or more facilities to be temporarily closed

Please clarify that under the new contract, only one dining facility will be utilized.

A: The Cadet Mess is in one physical location, made up of multiple rooms and wings.

40. Q: LINENS AND UNIFORM STORAGE. The Contractor shall store Contractor furnished linens and uniforms in a clean place.

We did not locate the section that stipulated the Contractor was required to furnish linens. The contractor is required to remove government furnished linen and place in a bin.

Please clarify.

A: See PWS 3.1.3.5 Paper/Cloth NAPKINS (white), 4.2.4. LINENS and 4.2.4.3 Contractor provided.

41. Q: The incumbent is currently using government furnished equipment, such as kitchen racks, baker’s racks and food carts, to transport items e.g. beverage containers, used and unused condiments, unopened containers, stainless steel serving ware and tableware items to and from the kitchen and storage areas.

Under the new contract, the government will not make this equipment available to the contractor.

The contractor is responsible to provide appropriate equipment (type and quantity) to perform this task.

Please list the type and number of government owned equipment the contractor is currently using, that will not be available to the contractor at the start of the new contract.

We understand, the contractor has the option to select different types and number of equipment to accomplish this task, please provide information on the current type and quantity of GFE currently being used for this purpose.

A: The current contract is utilizing 20 Normandy baker racks (10 per pantry) that will no longer be made available and will now have to be provided under the new contract.
