SECOND QUESTION AND ANSWER

QUESTION: In Amendment 0001 for the Range 26 Ammo building, they call for concrete encased ductbank for the power feeder. Seems like overkill, and I don't see any specs for size, etc.. Can you RFI the concrete encased conduit specs?

ANSWER: The conductors may be in schedule 40 pvc, or schedule 80, from the panel in R026S. Once the conductors reach the road/gravel area the conductors shall be in schedule 80 pvc which shall be encased in 12"x12" concrete. The reason for the concrete encased pvc is we have 80,000 plus pounds equipment that use the road/gravel area. This is a requirement of the Army Corp of Engineers Range Design Guide.
