About this file
This draft request for proposal and attached performance work statement outline requirements for contractor-provided medical operational data system support services. The U.S. Army Medical Command seeks these services on behalf of the Department of the Army to support the Medical Operational Data System (MODS). MODS is a government-owned, contractor-operated system that provides medical data and human resources management across the Army, Air Force, and Navy. The performance work statement details roles, responsibilities and lifecycle management tasks for the contractor, including system operations and maintenance, database administration, service desk support, configuration management, and transition services. Responses to the draft request for proposal are due by January 22, 2018 for market research purposes only. The agency plans to release a competitive solicitation at a later date.
