A24C. It is the Government’s intention to replace the electrical components associated with each unit.
This answer is confusing and could grossly impact the overall cost of the project. PLEASE CLARIFY AS
TO THE GOVERNMENT’S TRUE INTENTION.
Q7: Does the government want the wire, conduit, disconnects, breakers, etc. (associated existing electrical components) replaced?
R7: Yes, it is the Government’s intention to replace the electrical components associated with each unit.
Q8: If government want the wire, conduit, disconnects, breakers, etc. (associated existing electrical components) replaced, can more drawings be provided? . Please confirm if any ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS are available to properly trace all circuits as to their origin. To do this in a site visit would take many hours of investigation. Or in a more typical replacement situation, use the existing electrical components as needed and to increase or replace only if the new equipment’s specifications require it or a testing failure.
R8: There are no additional drawings to be provided.
