GROUNDS MAINTENANCE, WEST VIRGINIA

Q1. In description of services it states as an objective "to maintain healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants". Is there a requirement to trim trees, shrubs, and plants and if so what are the size requirements?

Q2. JANE LEW : The location on the map the rear field is marked grass. This has never been cut before and is full of groundhog holes, rocks, heavy brush and small trees. Is this required to make cut worthy and if so would you consider a one time clean up of that field or are we to figure it into the grass cutting price for the year?

Q3. JANE LEW SITE ; in the back of the property there is a large field, are we responsible for mowing this area all the way to creek bank. Half of it has not been mowed we were told that someone cut this for hay.

Q4. CLARKSBURG: This location is marked on the map to cut a small strip of ground at the front of the property. The problem is there is no access to this piece of ground and it is narrow and bordered on one side by a 10 foot direct to the ground below drop off which makes it extremely dangerous. Is this correct and if so how could it safely be cut.

Q5. CLARKSBURG: on this sites there is a large wall with a fence on the top of it has very large weeds and in some areas trees with a lot of vines hanging over it to the ground, on the site plan it show for weed eating inside and outside of this area will we need to do this area?

Q6. CLARKSBURG : How far on the inside of the fence do we need to weed eat I’m asking this do to the amount of weeds in the lots in some areas?

Q7. CLARKSBURG : The pond area is not marked as pond. It is marked as a flat area with grasscutting. Am I correct in assuming that the pond and the steep embankments surrounding it are to be cut/trimmed?

Q8. CHARLESTON: On the map at the Charleston location there is a huge flower bed off to the left of the entrance that is not marked. What if anything is expected to be done with this flower bed? It is filled with pine trees, fountain grass, shrubs, etc.

Q9. Are you allowing for an initial clean up for the fence lines at Clarksburg AMSA and Crosslanes (AFRC) as the condition of the fence line is beyond maintenance stage?

Q10. CROSS LANE SITE : on the outside of the fence behind where the electrical room is this area has a lot of large trees and weeds on the fence is this a area that we would still need to do.

Q11. What utilities are we able to use equipment we can use?

Q12. Are we able to work on weekends if approved in advance? NO Q13. Will we be able to change schedule if bad weather?

Q14. In section 5.3 if cancelled by COR , the contractor will still be credited. Does that mean the contractor will still get paid for service?
