2. INTENT:
Larimer County intents to enter into an agreement with one (1) Contractor to provide roof replacement services at Larimer County Administrative Services Building, located at 200 W. Oak Street, Fort Collins, CO 80521.
Larimer County is committed to ensuring that our EPDM 60 mil roofing system performs at the highest level of durability and reliability and because of this, we are not considering any substitutions to the DensDeck® Prime Roof Board. DensDeck® Prime Roof Board has been rigorously tested to provide the precise adhesion, moisture resistance, and dimensional stability required for the EPDM membrane. Deviating from this proven combination risks compromising the system’s integrity, potentially voiding warranties, and leading to unforeseen maintenance issues. Therefore, to uphold the quality and longevity of the installation, only the approved combination of EPDM 60 mil and DensDeck® Prime Roof Board will be used.
Vendors should review Exhibit C and Exhibit D (FM Property Loss Prevention Data sheets), provided by the Larimer County Risk Management Department for further information regarding factory-neutral roofing specifications.
