About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) questionnaire document for UW Medicine, a healthcare provider in Washington State, seeking potential vendor partners to support billing and collection services for Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) and Workers' Compensation (Work Comp) claims. The RFI questionnaire is designed to evaluate the services, expertise, and capabilities of vendors who can assist UW Medicine in obtaining reimbursement from MVA and Work Comp payers for both hospital and professional claims. The document functions as a structured assessment tool to gather detailed information from prospective vendors regarding their qualifications, service offerings, technology platforms, and experience in the specialized field of accident and workers' compensation billing and collections.
The questionnaire format allows UW Medicine to systematically evaluate vendor responses across multiple criteria relevant to the organization's billing and collection needs. Respondents would be expected to provide comprehensive information about their service capabilities, including claims processing methodologies, reimbursement recovery rates, technology infrastructure, staff expertise, and experience with similar healthcare organizations. This RFI approach enables UW Medicine to assess the market landscape and vendor qualifications before issuing a formal Request for Proposal, ensuring that subsequent procurement efforts target vendors with demonstrated capability in MVA and workers' compensation reimbursement services.
