About this file

This is an addendum to a Request for Proposal issued by the City University of New York's Office of the Chief Diversity and Procurement Officer for UCO-1019 Virtual Bookstore Operations. The solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive virtual bookstore operations and related services across participating CUNY colleges, including the sale and distribution of textbooks, course materials, digital content, general merchandise, and other related products through an online platform with integration into University systems. Contractors must demonstrate relevant experience and possess the operational, technical, and financial capacity to serve a large, multi-campus higher education environment while meeting all eligibility, qualification, accessibility, security, and contractual requirements. Addendum No. 2 addresses a prospective bidder inquiry regarding an extension of the deadline for submitting proposed exceptions to the RFP terms and conditions; CUNY's response clarifies that such exceptions must be submitted by the deadline specified in Part 1, 1.1 "Key Events and Dates" of the solicitation documents.

The solicitation establishes a Minority and Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) contracting goal of 30 percent of the total contract value. No business enterprises have been awarded identical or substantially similar procurement contracts within the past five years. All proposals must include Addendum No. 2 properly signed as part of Volume I; proposals submitted without all required addenda properly signed are subject to rejection by the University.
