About this file

This is Bid Amendment #1 issued by the State of New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property Procurement, dated October 7, 2025, for Bid Solicitation #25DPP01189 T2634 concerning statewide scrap metal collection, recycling, and disposal services. The amendment provides clarifications, answers to bidder questions, and revisions to the original bid solicitation and standard procurement forms. One firm, Mazza Recycling, attended the optional pre-quote conference held on September 4, 2025.

The key modification in this amendment is the extension of the quote submission deadline from Wednesday, October 15, 2025, to Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. All quotes must be submitted electronically through NJSTART. The amendment clarifies that bidders must submit a rebate percentage on the state-supplied price sheet, representing the percentage of commodity prices to be reimbursed to the State as determined by the American Metal Market Scrap Index. The standard procurement forms packet has been revised, and bidders are required to utilize the updated attachment titled "T2634 ATTACHMENT 2 - REVISED Standard Procurement Forms Packet 10.7.25." The amendment emphasizes that bidder-proposed terms conflicting with the State of New Jersey Standard Terms and Conditions may render a quote non-responsive, and all additions, deletions, clarifications, and modifications must be reviewed by interested bidders prior to submission.
