About this file
This amendment modifies an existing federal contract for cooling tower installation services. The modification adjusts terms and conditions in accordance with FAR 52.212-4. No changes are made to the statement of work or period of performance, which requires expedited installation to minimize downtime between delivery and replacement of an existing cooling tower at a Bureau of Prisons facility. Liquidated damages of $950 per day will apply in the event of delays. Offerors must acknowledge all amendments to remain eligible for award.
This related opportunity solicits firm fixed-price quotes for a new water cooling tower to replace the existing unit. The Department of Justice Bureau of Prisons seeks to make a single award for an off-the-shelf tower that will dictate necessary steel work and allow for continued operations. Proposals are due by February 29, 2024 and the value is estimated between $250,000-$500,000. The incumbent contractor is unspecified as this is a new requirement.
