About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a vehicle lift replacement project at the U.S. Coast Guard Base in Kodiak, Alaska. The project requires the contractor to supply and install three vehicle lifts: two two-post symmetric lifts with three-stage arms (12-15,000-lb capacity) and one four-post drive-on lift with ~25,000-lb capacity and a 300" wheelbase. The two-post lifts will be temporarily installed in the N94 VAS building, while the four-post lift will be installed in Building N1.
Key project details include a 30-day performance period after Notice to Proceed, with work restricted to Monday through Friday from 0730-1630. The contractor must ensure all lifts are certified per Automotive Lift Institute standards and provide a one-year warranty on workmanship and parts. Strict base access requirements are in place, including RapidGate enrollment, Real ID Act compliant identification, and coordination with Base Security. The contractor is responsible for daily cleanup, debris removal, and proper disposal of construction waste, with specific instructions to prevent dust and hazards in the work area.
