About this file
This is a Single-Agency Cooperative Purchase Authorization form from the Arizona State Procurement Office involving the Arizona State School for the Deaf and the Blind (ASDB) and the Department of Child Services (DCS). The document authorizes ASDB to utilize an existing contract with Nebco Associates Inc, with review and approval from the state's procurement authorities.
The contract is for Non-Medical Transportation Broker Services, with a maximum end date of 6/30/2026 and an estimated spend of $120,000. The original contract was awarded by DCS through a full and open competitive process. The justification for this cooperative purchase includes the immediate need to provide transportation services for students, the contract's ability to meet all required service specifications, and the efficiency of using an existing competitively bid contract rather than initiating a new solicitation process. The DCS Executive Leadership recommended approval, noting minimal anticipated impact and determining it to be in the best interest of the state, the department, and ASDB.
