(a) Purpose of Catalog Requirements. Prime Vendor Master catalog data are required to assist customers in product selection, ensure MCPF catalog item and pricing information are loaded accurately and are synchronized with levels of packaging available through the NPV and to gain visibility of the NPV’s entire product catalog it offers to its commercial customers.
(b) DLA TROOP SUPPORT-MEDICAL Catalog Data Transmission to the NPV: DLA
TROOP SUPPORT-Medical will communicate the items available to the NPV through electronic transmission of the MCPF. DLA TROOP SUPPORT-MEDICAL will update the
MCPF daily. The contractor's price & product catalog updates must be transmitted electronically. DLA Troop Support will provide a daily MCPF which will be processed and available for pick-up on a DLA Troop Support server. Once the NPV (GEN-III) contract is awarded, the NPV will be provided with instructions for obtaining the MCPF file. The daily
MCPF update file is built a day prior to when the prices take effect; for example, the MCPF update file created on Monday will include all prices that will take effect for Tuesday. The daily MCPF update files contain only the changes that occurred since the previous day. A full file is a complete MCPF containing all of the items available under the NPV program available for downloading on the last calendar day of the month. This file will establish the product prices for the 1 st of the following month. After that, only items that have updates will be displayed on the daily MCPF update files. The contractor is required to process this data and maintain a current catalog.
SOLICITATION NO. SPM2DX-11-R-0001 AMENDMENT 0001 PAGE 3 of 17
If the NPV finds any potential problems or discrepancies with any of the MCPFs, it shall report them to the Contracting Officer immediately.
In addition to the MCPF being provided daily, DLA Troop Support may send individual price changes to the NPV if necessary. Price changes will be kept to a minimum. The NPV shall implement price changes and load the new prices into its price and product catalog within two hours if received during regular business hours and within two hours of the start of the next business day for all other situations.
The NPV shall not make any changes to its copy of the MCPF without first obtaining permission from the Contracting Officer or other member of the DLA Troop Support
National Prime Vendor (GEN-III) team.
(c) NPV Transmission of Master Catalog and Pricing Data to DLA TROOP SUPPORT-
MEDICAL: The NPV shall provide catalog and pricing data to DLA TROOP SUPPORT-
MEDICAL. The NPV will also submit its Commercial Catalog items to DLA TROOP

NPV should correct the invoice price in the Medical Reconciliation Application (MRA) before the 810 is sent to DLA Troop Support’s financial system (EBS).

(WAWF) after the NPV ships to the TPharm. Every price on the 810 must be based on the validated prices from the 855. The TPharm shall submit the receipt (EDI 527) to DLA Troop
Support based on the physical count of the correct material received and all prices shall be based on the validated prices from the order confirmation. Mispicked & damaged items shall be returned to the NPV and shall not appear on the receipt.
